Research Interests:
Gut microbiota has been associated with almost all spectrum of human diseases, and has been proved to be causative agents of several diseases including obesity, depressive disorder etc. However, which member of gut microbiota is responsible for such key functions and what is the underlying mechanisms are largely unknown. My group is trying to expand the association and causative relationship between gut microbiota and disease, and explore the key member and key working mechanisms, especially in airway infectious disease.
Current Projects:
1. Study the role of gut microbita in airway infectious diseases, including influenza and mycobacterium tuberculosis infections. Explore the key members and key mechanisms of gut microbita.
2. Study the role of gut microbiota in hypertension, especially in metabolic hypertension, gestational hypertension and sleep-disordered breathing syndrome complicated with hypertension. Explore the key members and key mechanisms of gut microbita.
