On 18^th-19^th January, Dr. Bruna Corradetti, from the Department of Life and Environmental Sciences, University Politecnica delle Marche Italy, visited our Institute of Biomedical Sciences for academic exchange on stem cell research, invited by Professor Changxin Wu and Professor Jinpei Ye. Dr. Corradetti gave a speech on "Biomimicry: The Road to Regeneration" in Meeting-room 4 at the University International Conference Center.

  Dr. Bruna Corradetti is an assistant professor of life and environmental sciences at the University of Marche, Italy, and an assistant affiliate member of the Department of Nano-medicine at the Methodist Institute of Houston, the United States. She has extensive working experience in the field of stem cells and regenerative medicine.

  The talk focused on stem cells, tissue engineering and regenerative medicine, including her research approaches and achievements in stem cell therapy, tissue engineering and immunomodulation. Prof. Ye Jinpei chaired the talk and discussion. Experts and professionals from other faculties of related biology, hospitals and industry participated in the event.

  After the meeting, Dr. Bruna Corradetti had a tour of the Institute of Biomedical Sciences accompanied by President Wu.
