The opening ceremony for the "Joint Laboratory of Shanxi University with Shanxi Institute of Advanced Innovation" was held at the Institute of Biomedical Sciences, Shanxi University on October 30,2018. Prof Wu Changxin, the director of the Institute of Biomedical Sciences, expressed his warm welcome and sincere gratitude to the experts and delegates attending the ceremony to witness this historic moment. Academician Mr. Carlos. M. Morel, the guest professor from Shanxi Institute of Advanced Innovation, and Mr. Zhou Xiaoji, the Vice President of Shanxi University, unveiled the plaque of the joint laboratory. After the opening ceremony, experts and delegates had a tour of the joint laboratory on site and attended the ceremony forum. On the meeting, experts and delegates from both sides exchanged views on cooperation in scientific research, talent exchange, laboratory capacity development, etc.
