On 15^th March, after talent policy propaganda of Shanxi Province in Shanxi University, the Administrator Shi Tongzhao, of Shanxi Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs visited the first biomedical institute in the Midwest--Institutes of Biomedical Sciences Shanxi University (IBMS) for visiting and guiding. Been accompanied by Professor Wu Changxin, director of IBMS, Administrator Shi Tongzhao visited laboratories of cancer research, human rare genetic diseases research and stem cell research center, had a knowledge of instrument operation, and gave full affirmation to our achievements and construction. After visiting, Administrator Shi Tongzhao exchanged ideas with Jia Suotang, principal of Shanxi University, Yang Jun, vice-principal, Ma Xiaoxiao, head of foreign affairs, and Liu Guoqiang, head of human resources office, and gave precious suggestions on introduction of overseas talents and foreign expert. They all believe that Shanxi Province lacks of high-level biomedical institute, the construction of IBMS fills this gap, and exerts positive impact on biomedical talent training and industrial transformation and development in Shanxi Province. The parties will support platform construction and discipline construction of IBMS, actively give help on talents introduction and relative funding, and promote the construction of IBMS.
