On 14th June 2019, the Institute of Biomedical Sciences Shanxi University (IBMS) signed the agreement with Jiangsu Regenmore Biotechnologies Ltd. at IBMS. Mr. Pengwei Zhou, the Chairman of Jiangsu Regnemore and Prof. Changxin Wu, the Dean of IBMS, signed it on behalf of each institution. This is a latest development in our endeavour to stick onto the key national strategy in promotion of innovation by consortium of high education, research institution and industry, with our commitment on development and application of stem cell technologies.

  On the ceremony, Prof. Wu expressed a warm welcome to Mr. Zhou and delegates firstly. He briefly introduced the institute and its latest development, and emphasized IBMS’s vision to have an open mind for new ideas in stem cell technologies. Mr. Pengwei Zhou, expressed his excitement for our mutual cooperation. He said that Jiangsu Province, as the vanguard of China's economic development, has more advanced management concepts and richer industrialization experience than the other parts of the country, like Shanxi Province. On the other side, however, Shanxi University as a century-old university has a rigorous academic atmosphere open to the world, especially the new established IBMS full of international experts. He believes that our collaboration will not only bring benefits to his company, but also contribute to development of national health industry in general.

  Mr. Jianping Mu, from the University Office for Science and Technology Department introduced the achievements of scientific and technological transformation in Shanxi University in recent years, with more and more academic staff actively involved in translation of their knowledge and skills for enterprise development and to serve the society. He highly appreciated this cooperation. Finally, Prof. Jinpei Ye, the joint project leader for this cooperation, gave the speech and reviewed the process in formation of such cooperation between the two sides for mutual common interests in stem cell applications, and expressed confidence in such cooperation.
