Xiaoqin La, female, holds a doctorate degree and serves as a lecturer and a supervisor for master's degree candidates. She is the counselor for the 2024 postgraduate students of the School of Life Sciences and the secretary of the Third Party Branch of Postgraduate Students in the School of Life Sciences. She once served as the counselor for the postgraduate students of the classes of 2019 and 2021, and has been awarded the honorary title of "Excellent Counselor" several times. The classes she was in charge of have all been honored with the title of "Advanced Postgraduate Class Collective".
In recent years, she has presided over one national-level scientific research project, three provincial-level scientific research projects, and one provincial-level teaching reform project. She has been responsible for teaching undergraduates courses such as "Cell Biology" and "Comprehensive Biotechnology Experiment", as well as teaching "Medical Cell Biology" to postgraduate students majoring in relevant fields. As the primary instructor, she has guided students to win multiple national and provincial competition awards, including those in the National College Students' Life Science Competition (Scientific Inquiry Category).
Major Research Direction:
Conduct research focusing on the regulation of the stemness of tumor cells and targeted intervention, opening up new paths for solving the problem of tumor drug resistance and developing innovative anti-tumor drugs. The current research mainly focuses on:
The application of probiotics and prebiotics in the prevention and control of chronic diseases;
The potential intervention efficacy of postbiotics in the process of regulating the stemness of colorectal cancer;
The potential value and mechanism of action of characteristic plant resources in Shanxi Province in the regulation and intervention of the stemness of colorectal cancer.
